After moving to Perth with no English, he pursued excellence relentlessly – opening his own barbershop in Subiaco within weeks. Fully booked in just three months, Salim turned passion into purpose, creating a destination for world-class grooming and a home for Perth’s finest.

Hailing from the Middle East, Ali built a premium barbershop in New Zealand before chasing his dream to Australia. Known for what many call the cleanest fade in the country, word of his skill spread fast. It wasn’t long before Salim sought him out personally to join The Guru Barber team – where precision, artistry and reputation speak louder than words. Ali lives the motto: Best for the Best.

Young, driven, and full of energy, Haz pursued Salim after hearing of his reputation – determined to learn from the best. With four years of barbering experience in Jordan, Tariq brings a steady hand and a humble presence to the chair. New to Australia and learning English, he was drawn to The Guru Barber by its reputation for talent and excellence. Quiet in nature but growing in confidence, Tariq is refining his craft alongside Perth’s best – and it shows in every cut.
